Deadline: August 13, 2017
The Africa Climate Change Fund (ACCF), housed in the Climate Change and Green Growth Department of the African Development Bank (AfDB), is launching a call for proposals. The funding envelope available for this call is US $5 million in the form of grants. The Fund is seeking concept notes for projects and programmers in the range of US $250,000 – US $ 1 million.

Priority will be given to proposals focused on the thematic areas: supporting direct access to climate finance; and supporting small–scale or pilot adaptation initiatives to build resilience of vulnerable communities.
- This call for proposals is open to all eligible beneficiaries of the ACCF, including African governments, regional organizations, funds, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and research institutions, as well as Bank departments.
- Proposals from consortia are allowed, as long as all members of the consortium are eligible beneficiaries.
To apply for this call for proposals, please consult the information for applicants. Eligible beneficiaries are invited to submit a concept note using this template to email@example.com before midnight GMT on 13 August 2017, with the subject “ACCF concept note: short project title”.
